SCOPE:

Design of specialist cantilevered scaffolding to access lightwell areas, windows and roofs whilst avoiding applying any load to the main structure.

External decoration of listed building.

Internal decoration of the Magistrates Court including design and erecting specialist birdcage scaffolding.

Refurbishment of the War Memorial including specialist re-sign writing.

R & B have carried out a number of projects for the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames including:

The works involved us working whilst the facilities were in use as well as working out of hours and adapting the programme to facilitate the client's working schedules, especially whilst undertaking work at the Magistrates Court.
The contract included:

Specialist internal finishes
-
Waxing.
-
Repairs and/or replacement of fascias, soffits, sashes, box sash windows, casements, casement windows, uPVC windows.

Glazing repairs.
-
Replacement of rainwater goods (gutters and downpipes).

Drain inspections and cleaning.
-
Fencing repairs and replacements.
-
Paving and roofing works including replacing broken tiles and slates, flat roof repairs and renewal.

Asphalt coatings.

Leadwork.

Decorations.
We successfully established a collaborative working approach with the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames through good communication and establishing shared objectives supported by effective teamwork.
At the start of this contract, we agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and monitored these at regular communication meetings throughout the delivery of the contract.
Security was paramount for the client and we ensured that all our operatives were security checked before commencing work.
