Procurement and installation of items to match the period of the building such as decorative handmade fanlights, decorative metal railings and Portland stone entrance steps.

Replacement flooring, ceilings and floor finishes.

Decorative plaster and Stucco replacements.

Scaffold erection, maintenance and dismantlement (including licenses).

Decorative metalwork renewal and repairs.

Overhauling and repairs to timber sash windows.

External decorations and associated repairs.

Portland stone repairs and replacement.

Re-pointing and brickwork repairs.

Decorative lead flashing work and roofline product renewal.

Replacement roofing works including Welsh Slate roofs and asphalt renewal.

R & B carried out internal redecorations to communal areas and external decorations and pre-paint repairs throughout various properties within The Portman Estate's property portfolio.
Being in the heart of London, the majority of the properties were Grade II listed buildings; thus due care and attention was required to keep in line with the original period features using construction methods of that era.

As this contract involved occupied dwellings, resident care and liaison was imperative to the smooth running of the contract. Proactive resident liaison allowed us to discover and accommodate the occupant's availability regarding access, which we endeavoured to schedule our programme of works to suit.
At the start of this contract, we agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and monitored these at regular communication meetings throughout the delivery of the contract.
